The starch and veggies all get passed.<BR/><BR/>And like Kathy, I make lots of veggies so those are the first choice for seconds. My grandkids love riding my bicycle...at least they keep it dusted!<BR/><BR/>We switched from soup/cereal bowls which held several cups to new ones that are about half as big. And I serve a lot of higher calorie foods on our bread plates rather than the 12" ones. I'm looking for new "dinner" plates that are smaller. That's great. <BR/><BR/>Your idea of leaving the food in the kitchen is a good one. Two more ideas you might have seen before are:<BR/><BR/>1. Use a smaller plate. It makes the food look like more.<BR/><BR/>2.
