Morning Walks

Over the weekend I woke up insanely early to go out for a walk. It was supposed to be hot and was, so I decided to beat the heat and go walking early. What a difference in the world during the morning. I'm used to going after supper and seeing so much activity. I have to say, it was rather refreshing being the only one around. I walked through the state fair park and saw things I had never seen before. Don't think I'll be doing it during the week, but I will definitely make another early rise this weekend to see the world before everyone else.

What is this "early morning" that you speak of?

Seriously, for someone who's not a morning person, it figures that I need to get up for work every day at 4:30 am. So when I get a chance to sleep in, I do.

But it's great that you're able to get out there and enjoy the early walk.

My husband and I do the "old people" thing...up before 6...early breakfast...early grocery store trips...Walmart before the crowds converge. And a cup of coffee on the deck watching the world wake up is such a peaceful way to begin the day.
