I Can't Stand...

a messy silverware drawer. There may be nothing else clean or tidy in the house and it doesn't bother me, but when my loving wife empties the dishwasher, I can tell. The silverware drawer looks like a tornado went through it. Knives in the spoon slot, spoons in the fork slot, the kids silverware scattered throughout. I can't stand it. It takes me a good 5 minutes to clean up the mess left behind the reckless tornado.

What does this have to do with weight loss? Probably nothing, just a little rant on a otherwise uneventful Sunday morning.

Have a great day. I know I will, since the silverware drawer is back to organized.

You are a fortunate man when the worst thing you have to complain about in your life is an unorganized silverware drawer...huh? Back to the Colts now.

I agree with Kathy. I tend to not care so much anymore when the kids have unloaded the dishwasher and stuff isn't where I normally keep it. Hey it got out of the dishwasher after all!

Hope your Sunday was a good one!

I hate a messy drawer too. I am pretty much always the one that unloads the dishwasher but my mother-in-law was in town for a month before Christmas and always left it chaotic. She doesn't speak any English and I don't speak Spanish so I just tried not to worry about it, but it drove me crazy. I was always sneaking in there to separate the dinner from the salad forks and the soup spoons from the teaspoons.

She didn't learn that technique at home!!! Get her started on the rest of the house! :) :)

I love your MIL!!!
I wasn't too torn up about the Colts...I'm definitely a fair-weather-football fan and make no bones about it. About the only football I watch are the Superbowl and Colts play-offs...I'm too wound up with my racin'!!!
I have two slots left for my pay-it-forward, so e-mail me your address and you will get something crafty from me and then you are to make something crafty for three people. That should be fun in the nursing home...maybe they could just limit it to forwarding to one other person, though.

oh man you would hate our drawer. It was messy before Christmas. We hosted a big party at Christmas so I bought a set of 36 placesettings and afterwards because the kids liked them so much (they were a little smaller than our normal stuff) we added them to the drawer instead of storing them. So now its crazy messy.
