Just Not Inspired

Excuses, excuses, excuses. I DO have several excuses for not blogging this week. The list could go on and on: busy getting the kitchen back together, busy working for WW ;), wife has been so tired that I'm in charge of bedtime, several evening meetings this week (home & school, WW, choir, etc.), too busy exercising (hee, hee), and the list could go on. The truth is, I have three posts that I started this week, but just have been too lazy to finish them.

Today, I'm making a LIST! Our kitchen is just about complete, we need a closet door yet. Last night, I stayed up way too late organizing cabinets and purging some old stuff that will not return to the kitchen and will remain banished to the basement till further action. In organizing the cabinets, I realized that we have very little food in the house. I knew this was the case, since the last 3 days, I have taken soup for lunch, which is usually my "last resort" lunch. I'm just not a big fan of soup. Our cabinets have 9 cans of raviolli, 3 cans of spaghettios, 16 cups of puddings, 4 cans of pears, 8 cans of soup and assorted rice and pasta. THAT'S IT!

In a way, it will be great to start from scratch. I can really stock up on healthier options and keep the junk out of the house. My list making will start now. I will share it with you all later.

That really is the key isnt it? Having healthy foods around is so important. Wishing you all the best.

When my roommate moved out, I purged the cabinets, it was so refreshing to open them up and only find healthier options!
