Another Shipment

After so many recommendations about this stuff, I ordered some a while back. Actually, I have gone through the 4 jars within 2 months. When I first tried PB2, I wasn't sure about it as it is all natural without any added flavoring. I use my PB2 mostly as a dip for carrots. I tried it in my oatmeal, but I prefer my JIF to PB2 in oatmeal yet. It had been suggested to me to try adding a TBSP of canola oil to the PB2 instead of water. I hate wasting 2 points on oil everyday and this seemed like a good way to get my healthy oils in. I have tried it on occasion, but still seem to skip the oils most of the time. The website offers many recipes and as I was looking through them recently I came across the "Couldn't Be Easier Pudding". It's 1 box sf/ff chocolate pudding, 2 cups skim milk, and 2 tbsp PB2. Doesn't get much easier than that and chocolate and peanut butter have always been one of my favorite combos.

Next week, I'm off for the week and I may or may not be around as my "Event Planner" has most of my days planned out for me already. Can't wait to find out what's in store!

I don't know how many jars of PB2 I've been through. I use it in Thai sauces and salad dressings where peanut butter is called for. I think I still have some of the recipes on my recipe blog. They asked me for permission to use a couple of my recipes on their site, but I don't know if they ever posted them or not. I love it sprinkled on sugar-free vanilla pudding with a few banana slices or on top of sugar free ice cream.

Glad you got around to watching the video...wasn't that incredible?

I like to add some of the PB2 into my WW vanilla smoothies. It's like a peanut butter milkshake. :-) I'll definitely have to give the pudding recipe a try, too.

i had never heard of PB2! Thanks for sharing the info on it. I will be ordering some for sure. I have been using all natural PB by Smuckers for awhile now but still had some JIF in the pantry. I was making a sandwich for the kids and took at little taste of the JIF and couldn't believe how much sweeter it was....never realized that before. There is only 3 g of sugar but after eating PB without sugar, it just seems so sweet :) Have a fun week off!

I haven't used my PB2 in a while, but I use it like kathy in place of PB in dressings and sauces. I also have mixed it into pancake batter.

I'm a BIG fan of PB2, I lost count of the number of jars I've been through.

Being a Jif Junkie, I was skeptical, but in most of the applications already mentioned, it is pretty good. My favorite is as a topping on Ice Cream.

I know of another peanutbutter substitute, Peabutter. http://www.peabutter.ca/ It has no nuts in it at all!! I have a cousin who is also allergic to peanuts, but his started as a teen, so peanutbutter was already an integral part of his diet. He loves peabutter and has no problems. Since I have never really eaten peanutbutter, I don't feel the need to add it to my diet at this point.

I use Better 'n Peanut Butter and I like it. I have heard of PB2 before but wondered if a person would use that much. Apparently so. I think I may just have to try it.

Wow, sounds interesting. I'll have to check the website further. Sounded like a video system to me at first LOL. PS2, PB2. Ha! Have a great week next week -- I'll be taking a month blog break but will be revamping some things & updating my ticker too. D

Been trying to find out where I can buy this stuff here in Canada. No success yet...maybe at a health food store. Hmmmm. I checked their zip code store finder but it didn't work within 250 miles for me. Grrr. D
