Friday Food Find

Thought I'd start sharing something each week that has been working for me. Sometimes I just take for granted that everyone is aware of the basic light/low fat products available, but then I am told about something new that I didn't know about. Feel free to add something that is vital for you as well. I've got a good list going and will share weekly.

Today, I'm sharing my family's favorite garlic bread. It tastes great and has 2g of fat 3g of fiber and only 65 calories per slice. It's a great companion to noodles, which my kids could eat daily. We've been switching over gradually to whole wheat or multi-grain pasta, but still have some old stuff hanging around the pantry.

This looks wonderful! Where do you get it. I haven't seen it in stores around here. I have been making garlic bread (3 pts) with olive oil to get an oil in but this looks so much easier and probably tastes better.

I just noticed it at Pick 'n Save. The biggest grocery store around here. It is in the frozen section, ask your grocer about it. Seems they are more than willing to add food when asked.

I've noticed several items that had been targeted to be discontinued, but when enough people bring it to the grocer's attention, they come back.
