Friday Foods

Something that I have enjoyed on occasion is a smoothie. I have tried the Weight Watcher Smoothie and although they taste good, I always seem to add too much stuff and it turns into more of a meal than a snack. I've tried the Yoplait Smoothies and really do enjoy them. I am all about convenience and these are very convenient when I want a quick smoothie fix. I usually only buy them when they are on sale. When they're on sale I get them for $1.15 each. Not sure if it's worth it, but it is a nice treat. 90 calories, 0g of fat, and 3g of fiber.

Re: the NutriSystem. This shipment is 1 month - another shipment will arrive in a few weeks for my second month. Yikes, ha.

I've never tried those but 90 calories sounds reasonable. I'm just not into drinking calories at all...I guess it's an old established habit that is hard for me to overcome. I do occasionally make the milk, fruit, splenda, and ice shake in the afternoon or evening just to get my dairy in and it is a good pick-me-up.

I like the Dannon Lite and Fit smoothies. Calories are similar I think...they are 1 point and a milk serving. I don't usually drink many calories either, but I do find these filling to go with toast or a muffin when I'm on the run for breakfast.
