I'm Just Big Boned

I frequent the WW message boards probably a little more than I should and every one in a while, there is someone who chimes in about being Big Boned. Before I answer the question with some smart remark, I always take a step back and realize that there was no way I would have dreamed one year ago that I would weigh an "ideal" weight. Today marks "ONE YEAR" since I began my weight loss journey. In this year, I have come to realize that being big boned, is just one of those excuses to stay fat along with "I can't."

Working with smaller goals and focusing on being healthy instead of worrying about a number on a scale has made me appreciate my journey much more. Thanks to everyone who stops by to lend support and maybe gain a little as well. I appreciate the support of everyone and it is definitely a big part of my success. Here's to the next year living healthy and with big bones.

Happy Anniversary and a big Congratulations to one of my very favorite weight-loss bloggers! You are an inspiration to all of us and now that we can't call you big-boned anymore...can we call you Big Daddy instead???

Congrats on a GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT! I do think that there are some people who are petite and others who are bigger -- but most just use it as an excuse IMO. D

Thanks for keeping it real. Excuses are everywhere. At some point we need to just get down to business and lose the weight!
