About time to say "Hi!"




I'm really not sure where the time flies, but it's been close to a month since I've posted anything. I've really been having a good month fitness wise. I lost 4 pounds in March and am working on that much for April to get me to my "Eight by Easter" goal.

We've had some sickness in the family lately. Ear infections, pink eye, fevers, and I've been battling some sinus issues. My oldest has started going to the orthodontist and that has caused some dietary issues as well, since she has to go "soft" and stay away from the chewy sticky stuff. It's been interesting to watch her think through her decisions.

I'm still going to the gym 4-6 times a week. Even with our illnesses last week, I got a kick butt workout in as my sick 9 yr old pushed me harder than I really cared to go. I hope I'll be able to keep the gym routine up during spring break, which starts next Thursday and extends through the entire next week. I may try to go earlier in the day.

Today, I had a trained measure my body fat. I was expecting the worst, but turned out it was better than I expected. 20% is not too shabby, could be worse, but could be much better too. I'll keep working on it.

I'll try to make a point to check in again soon.

I hope to see 20 % bodyfat, I have been hanging around 25-26% for years.... I must work harder at it.
