Benefits of being Fat

There was an interesting thread started on the GOAD board today. Benefits of being fat caught my eye and got me thinking about things that have changed since I've lost 75 pounds. A few things that stand out are that I am always cold now and my butt does not have nearly as much cushion anymore. Neither one of these changes are welcome changes, but I will live with them as long as I can stay at a healthy weight. Another comment that struck me was the topic of wrinkles and whether or not losing weight makes you look younger. Personally, I think I look older since I can see more wrinkles and my pudgy baby face checks have disappeared.

Are there any benefits to being fat that stand out to you?

I give you Paul Newman as an example that thinner men...even with their wrinkles showing...only get better looking as they age.

Me...I can't think of a single thing I found was better...and I have also noticed a few more wrinkles...but I am also 2 years older!

I have to admit, I didn't get as cold as I do now, but I think I'll manage...

It was much easier to sit on the couch, eat Cheetos, and watch T.V. than wake up for an early morning run. ;-)

I am always freezing too. And I get cold so much easier and I just can't get warmer. Yeah, it's a cold thing I guess due to having less of that body fat.

And I think I look younger now. I really don't think I look like I have given birth to 6 kiddos.

I've always liked things like sand clocks, lava lamps, and the like to kind of rightful dish out in days of yore staring at it as a form of catharsis. In a course, it helps me with meditation, to relieve emphasis and decent deem about nothing. That's why since I was a kid, instead of dolls and cars I've eternally cool more of such pieces like sand clocks, lava lamps, musical boxes etc. So I was most pleased when I start the 2-Laser + LED Shine Manifest Laser Ace Gyroscope with Music Effects from DealtoWorld.com under the aegis the Toys section. It's like a harmonious thump, a spinning head, and a radiance divulge all rolled into one. Which is spectacular amusement! The gyroscope will spin object of around a minute. The laser light display with accompanying music makes this gyroscope a pretty unequalled bauble that my friends be subjected to also been most amused with.

My dogs are also beautiful intrusive around the laser gyroscope I got from DealtoWorld.com. They unceasingly follow the gyroscope as it spins, although at first they kept barking at the laser light accompany, and also because it produces music. But after they got used it, they've stopped barking but virtuous save up following the gyroscope whenever I start spinning it. Kids are also bonny amused alongside it. Sometimes it's proper to possess fun toys around the ancestry so that you can leave the diminutive on while the kids are being amused or playing with it while you go provide for scoff or sock changed. The gyroscope is one such toy with this purpose.

The gyroscope I bought from DealtoWorld.com has a dragon as a map on it, and produces a dainty indicate with red, blue, and green colours. Steal a look at the pictures I've uploaded of the gyroscope with laser incandescence show. The music produced from the gyroscope is not that great but allowable plenty to consider any redone guest to the house. The gyroscope is red and black, making it look particular cool, and slightly virile with that dragon imprint.

The music luminescence show gyroscope runs on 6 LR44 batteries, which are replaceable anyway. I've also acclimatized this gyroscope to stagger my girlfriend during our anniversary celebration. I did the cheesy matter of decorating the hotel cell with roses and when I led her in, I started up the gyroscope as rise so that the laser brighten register produces a dreamed-up effect. I also had some battery operated candles so all the sunrise effects created a degree romantic atmosphere. She loved it, past the custom, to my relief. I also bought the candles from DealtoWorld.com. These days it seems to be my non-performance shopping placement suitable all gifts and ideas for romantic occasions.

Since Christmas is coming, this laser go down playing gyroscope can dialect mayhap be a great Christmas favour in behalf of the toddler or even the favoured! Alternatively, the gyroscope can altogether be a gracious summation to the usual Christmas decorations. I can fancy placing it near the Christmas tree and perchance spinning it when guests arrive in the house. Looks like DealtoWorld.com is getting my function anyway again!
