Friday Food Find

We eat a lot of tacos in our house. I'm not a big fan of soft shelled tacos even though I know there are many tortillas that would be low in points, I tend to go towards the crunchy side of things. Found these Snyder of Hanover Multi Grain Tortillas at my local grocery store and thought I'd give them a try. They have 130 calories per servings, which is about 10 chips, 5g fat, and 3g fiber. They are big chips and perfect for dipping into a taco salad. For 2 points, I will be buying them again. It did satisfy my need for crunch and salt.

I'm not a huge fan of torilla chips, so these were safe in my house without threat of overeating.

That was a good comment at the end...some people just can't be trusted with big bags of chips in the house. It's always good to know what your personal triggers are.

btw...your pay-it-forward is ready...just have to get to the post-office...one of my least favorite things!

When we do burrito nights here I love to make a huge taco salad too with fat free refried beans. Sometimes when I am low on tortillas, we just make taco bowls with chips in the bottom and toppings of choice on top. These would be a good choice for that. Much better than DORITOS!

I love chips and they used to be a big trigger for me but as long and I weigh them out in a bowl and don't munch out of the bag I am fine. These look delicious. I will have to try them out.

I have found some multigrain crisps and some pretzel chips that have been my chips lately. I will post them on my blog soon.

These look good, I'll have to check them out.

It was tough rooting for the Giants to beat the Cowboys, though it had to be done. Now I'm rooting for the Pack to take out those New York Stinkin' Giants! Go Packers!

Quick update - I looked for these in the grocery store today and they didn't have them. I'll have to check out a few other places, I guess.
